Payment plans available at colleges spread the cost over several months (for a fee).
Students can attend a two-year college within commuting distance and later transfer. (Note: Certain majors require freshman enrollment at the university level).
Students may work on campus in exchange for housing, food, etc. (ex. resident assistants).
Students who have a plan and stick to it can graduate in four years or less.
Some students prefer to work full-time and attend college part-time.
